Huaqiang Street

Huaqiang street is located in the East Center of XiXiangTang District of Nanning city. It is connected with Xingning District in the East, Beida road in the west, Yongjiang River in the South and Hunan Guangxi railway in the north. In 2003, it has jurisdiction over five community residents committees. It covers an area of 2.3 square kilometers.

Huaqiang street is located in the center of Nanning and the east of XIXIANGTANG district. It is connected with Xingning District in the East, Beida road in the west, Yongjiang River in the South and Hunan Guangxi railway in the north, with a total area of 2.3 square kilometers. It was set up in 1955, and then its name changed and its construction was replaced. Huaqiang street was rebuilt in 1990 (1993), and Yongning Street was merged in 1996. Located in the northeast of Yongxin District. In 1997, it covers an area of 2.2 square kilometers and has a population of 38000. The office is located in Huaqiang road and has jurisdiction over 13 neighborhood committees, including the north section of Huaqiang Road, Yunting street, Yongning Street, hele street, Zhuangzhi Road, Gantang street and Datong Street. In 2000, the neighborhood committees were merged into five communities: Huaqiang, Datong, Nanlun, Yongning and Longsheng. At the beginning of 2002, it covers an area of 2.2 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 30583. At the end of 2003, it covers an area of 2 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 38102. It governs five communities.

March 2005 belongs to XIXIANGTANG district. In 2006, the area to the east of Beida South Road, which was originally managed by Xinyang street, was assigned to Huaqiang street for management, with the boundary line from Beida South Road to Yongjiang central line; the boundary line of Huaqiang street management scope starts from Yongjiang central line (the boundary between XIXIANGTANG district and Jiangnan District) to the south of Minsheng wharf, goes north to Minsheng wharf, goes north along Jiefang Road and Huaqiang Road, crosses Zhonghua Road to railway, and goes west along railway Road to Beida railway overpass, south along Beida South Road to Yongjiang central line (Yongjiang central XIXIANGTANG district and Jiangnan dividing line); area of 2.1 square kilometers, population of 38700, jurisdiction of five communities.

The total area is 2.3 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 26 streets, mainly including Jiangbin Road, Renmin West Road, Beida Road, Zhonghua Road, Huaxi road and Huaqiang road. There are 57 enterprises and institutions under the jurisdiction, which have jurisdiction over five community neighborhood committees, including Huaqiang, Longsheng, Yongning, Datong and Nanlun, with a permanent resident population of 28186 (2010). Zhonghua Road, Huaqiang road and Huaxi road are the small commodity wholesale and retail center of Nanning, while Renmin West Road is the building materials and lighting wholesale and retail center of Nanning. There are nine schools in the District, including No.1 Vocational High School, No.1 middle school, No.5 Middle School, Weiguo primary school, Huaxi primary school, Zhuangzhi primary school, shijiaoyou primary school, shieryou secondary school and shisanyou primary school. The strong and majestic Causeway garden and the spectacular Minsheng square have become a major landscape in the area. There are Anhui guild hall (located at No. 12, shixiangkou, Nanning) and Yuedong guild hall (located at No. 22, Zhuangzhi Road, Nanning), which were announced as Nanning cultural relics protection units in 2002 and 1982 respectively.
