Pangquangou town is located in Guandi mountain in the northwest of Jiaocheng County, with an altitude of 1600-2830 meters. Xiaowen mountain, the main peak of Luliang Mountain, is 2830 meters above sea level. It is the second highest peak in North China. It is known as the "green pearl" of the Loess Plateau, the hometown of Larix principis rupprechtii and the hometown of brown eared pheasant.
