Jinma town

Jinma Town, located in the southwest of Wenjiang District, is named after Jinma River, a tributary of Minjiang River. On the East Bank of Jinma River, it is adjacent to Shuangliu District in the West and Chongzhou city in the south. The whole town covers an area of 23.55 square kilometers and governs 7 communities and 1 administrative village. The location advantage is outstanding, and the "three horizontal and eight vertical" urban trunk roads in the town are distributed in a grid shape.

Jinma town is an important functional area group of national cross-strait science and Technology Industrial Park and the core area of Jinma International Sports City, covering an area of 23.55 square kilometers. The functional area of sports city is planned to be about 13 square kilometers. The functional area of cross-strait science and technology park is located in more than 60 industrial enterprises in Jinma, covering an area of about 3 square kilometers. The existing cultivated land is 14400 mu (9.6 square kilometers), which is outside the planning area The total construction land is nearly 3 square kilometers.

Jinma town is speeding up the construction of a modern economic system led by modern service industry, and comprehensively promoting "prospering the town by lake, enriching the town by industry, expanding the town by transportation, and strengthening the town by sports". The whole town is flat, without hills and mountains. Jinma River, a tributary of Minjiang River, passes through it. The forest coverage rate is 31.6%. The climate is mild and humid, belonging to subtropical monsoon climate. There is no severe heat in summer and cold in winter. The annual average temperature is 15.7 ℃, the annual average rainfall is 942.5mm, and the annual frost free period is 281 days.

Economic situation

In 2008, the GDP of the whole town was 215.67 million yuan, the town level fiscal revenue was 5.23 million yuan, the per capita net income of farmers was 6800 yuan, and the disposable income of urban residents was 7216 yuan. Since 2012, the total economic volume of the town has been rising steadily and the main indicators have been improving. The investment in fixed assets increased from 410 million yuan in 2012 to 4.2 billion yuan, and the GDP increased from 375 million yuan in 2012 to 710 million yuan. The town level tax revenue increased from 47.25 million yuan in 2012 to 78 million yuan, an average annual growth of 13.35%. The per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents increased from 12850 yuan and 12750 yuan in 2012 to 23000 yuan and 21700 yuan respectively. 46 major projects have been settled, 28 have been completed and put into operation, and 18 have been accelerated. The town's economy has been running smoothly for five consecutive years.

Jinma River Basin is 8 kilometers long in Jinma Town, with a large area of floodplain resources for development. In 1992, with the approval of the provincial government, Jinma tourist area, covering an area of 3.5 square kilometers, was established in Jinma town. It has gradually introduced and built a horse race course, an international shooting club, and various kinds of style villas that can accommodate 40000 visitors. It has become one of the five major tourist development zones in Sichuan Province. In May 1999, Jinquan well 1 was successfully developed. According to the test of experts, the hot spring in the well can be exploited for more than 100 years, and it is known as the "first spring" in Chengdu Plain. Jinma hot spring is a "strontium" hot spring, which contains more than ten kinds of substances and trace elements that are extremely beneficial to human health. It has the functions of regulating autonomic nervous system, improving sleep, appetite, delaying aging, preventing cardiovascular disease and so on. In 2001, it successfully introduced 250 million yuan invested by Sichuan Tianhao Investment Development Co., Ltd. to build a five-star hotel, Yufu Guodu Hot Spring Garden Hotel, which covers an area of 230 mu. It presents modern European style and is elegant.

Location traffic

With the eastward and southward transfer of Wenjiang's economic development strategy and the opening of Guanghua Avenue, the fast track from Wenjiang to Chengdu, Jinma town's location advantage has become increasingly prominent. The town government is only 3 km away from Wenjiang City, 20 km away from Chengdu International Airport and 3 km away from national highway 318. It is close to the national science and Technology Industrial Park on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. The main roads in the park - Rongtai Avenue and the eighth line pass through the town. Shengda wood industry and Longxing enterprises settle here.

administrative division

In December 2019, the reply to the request for instructions on the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns (streets) in 15 districts (cities) and counties including Longquanyi District of Chengdu City cancelled Yongsheng Town and Jinma Town, and established Jinma street. The administrative area of Jinma street was the administrative area of the former Yongsheng Town and Jinma Town, and Jinma Street office was located at No. 98, Jinrong street.
