Yongan Township

Daoling temple, the ancient name of Yong'an Township, is located in the southwest of Tongnan. It is connected with Baizi town in the East, Wenming town in the south, maojia and Longtai town in Anyue County in the west, chongkan town in the north, and 18 kilometers away from the county. Baibai highway crosses the territory. The beautiful scenery and the rippling Qiongjiang River have brought vigor and vitality to the people of Yong'an.

Originally under the jurisdiction of Zhujia and Wenming Township, Yongan Township was built in 1951. The people will always yearn for peace.

Yongan Township has one middle school and one primary school, nine village primary schools, six administrative villages and 36 agricultural cooperatives, with a total population of 16675, an area of 23.66 square kilometers and a total cultivated land area of 14554.2 mu. Yongan Township was founded in 1950. The township government is located in Daoling temple. Now it has three offices: the party and government office, the social affairs office and the economic development office. Development history

In 1998, Yongan Township was listed as "National Agricultural Comprehensive Development Zone" by Chongqing Municipal People's government, and named "zhujiaba Agricultural Comprehensive Development Zone" has begun to take shape. In 2002, Yong'an Township completed the construction of a main road and part of the project of returning farmland to forest, with a total investment of more than 700000 yuan. The road surface hardening task of 1.5 km from Yong'an to Baizi was completed, which improved the traffic capacity and created favorable conditions for the investment and tourism in Yong'an. Soil and water control in daochanggou small watershed has achieved good results. There are many kinds of Wenlong sightseeing fish pond in Meijia village. Xiajiaba Shigao farm is full of pigs, cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks and geese.
