Yongan Township
Yongan Township is located 12 kilometers north of Puge County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, covering an area of 62.22 square kilometers. It governs 5 administrative villages and 24 villager groups. The total population of the township is 6438 (2017).
On January 12, 2021, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed that Liangshan Prefecture should adjust the administrative divisions of some towns in Puge county and other seven counties, abolish Yong'an Township, and put the former administrative region of Yong'an Township under the jurisdiction of Puji town.
General situation
Yongan Township is located 12 kilometers north of Puge County in Sichuan Province, with Luoji Mountain in the west, Zemu River in the East and above Xiqiao highway. It is surrounded by Wenping Township, qiaowo Town, Xiangyang Township and Dechang County. The township covers an area of 62.22 square kilometers. It governs 5 administrative villages and 24 villager groups in luowu, gujiaping, Yong'an, lalajie and Sanba. The total population of the township is 6438 (2017). The lowest altitude of the township is 1300 meters, and the highest altitude is 3750 meters. It is an ethnic township where Yi and Han people live together. The township government is located in gujiaping village.

Historical evolution
In July 1952, the people's Government of Yong'an township was established. The township government was set up in Tuo street. In December 1956, the Township People's government was changed to the Township People's Committee. In October 1958, it merged with Pu'an and other townships to establish Fucheng people's commune. In 1961, it was separated from Pule people's commune together with Chengxi township to establish Yong'an people's commune. In December 1962, Yong'an people's commune was abolished and the township system was restored.
November 9, 1968. With the approval of the 15th infantry regiment of Chengdu Military Region and the Party committee of Puge County People's Armed Forces Department, Yongan Township Revolutionary Committee was established. On March 26, 1973, the township Revolutionary Committee was abolished and the commune Revolutionary Committee was established. In March 1980, the Revolutionary Committee of Yong'an commune was changed into the commune management committee. In May 1984, the commune management committee was abolished and the people's Government of Yong'an township was established.

Yongan Township mainly produces corn, rice, wheat, buckwheat, potatoes, etc.; its economic pillars are mainly flue-cured tobacco and sericulture, and its economic crops include Zanthoxylum, chestnut, walnut, fruits, vegetables, etc. as of December 2007, the total industrial and agricultural output value of the township was 14.2 million yuan, an increase of 3 million yuan or 27% compared with 11.2 million yuan in 2006, of which the total industrial output value was 4.88 million yuan or 3.8 million yuan compared with 2006 The total agricultural output value was 9.32 million yuan, 3 million yuan more than 6.32 million yuan in 2006, 47% more than 6.32 million yuan in 2006.
