Taijitun town is located in the northeast of Lianshan District of Huludao City, adjacent to Taihe District of Jinzhou City in the East, Linghai city in the north and Nanpiao District in the West. From the topographic point of view, it is high in the north and low in the south, hilly in the north, plain in the south, flat and fertile in the south, mountainous and sloping in the north, covering an area of 109 square kilometers. The town has 18 administrative villages and 8 natural villages. The town has 20000 people and 32962 mu of arable land.

Economic overview

The cultivated area is 32962 mu. The main crops are corn and wheat. Vegetables are mainly cabbage and scallion. Jinzhou Nanpiao railway passes through our town, and the traffic is very convenient, which has laid the foundation for the economic development of Taiji village. The industry takes the production of cast iron pipes and refractories as the pillar industry, with an annual production of 10000 tons of cast iron pipes, basically occupying the construction industry of the three northeast provinces. In agricultural production, animal husbandry and fruit production are the main industries, and a new pattern of industrialization of animal husbandry and fruit deep processing, agriculture and precision industry has been formed. The town has been rated as an advanced town with one township and one industry by the district Party committee and the district government for several consecutive years. The main fruit is grape, with an annual output of 5700 tons. There are 7 thermostats and 500 kilns in the town. According to the requirements of the masses, combined with the specific situation of our town, we will vigorously develop grape planting in the future, so that our town will really become a grape production base in three years.
