Gaoqiao Town, located in Tongcheng City, Anhui Province, covers an area of 79.42 square kilometers, with 37200 mu of cultivated land, belonging to hilly polder and fan area. In May 2004, the original 25 administrative villages were merged into 12 administrative villages with a total population of 42224.
