Ivory mountain is located in Songshan Town, 29 kilometers southeast of Kaiyuan city, Liaoning Province, 43 kilometers away from Tieling. It is a provincial forest park and one of the eight scenic spots of Kaiyuan in history. It is a volcanic rock Geopark. In the Jin Dynasty, it was called Songshan, also known as Xiangyang mountain. Later, it became Ivory mountain because of its sound.

Ivory mountain was opened to the public in 1996. Because of the TV series "rural love", it has become a household name "famous scenic spot".

With an area of 99 square kilometers, the ivory mountain scenic spot is the aftervein of hadaling in Changbai Mountain, and the main peak is 615.2 meters high.
