Shagang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Hepu County, Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Hepu County, 20 kilometers away from Hepu County, with a coastline of 15.7 kilometers and an administrative area of 103 square kilometers. Qixing Island, an island in Hepu County, covers an area of 4.2 square kilometers.

Since the Han Dynasty, it belongs to Hepu County. In 1984, it was changed to shagang township. In 1993, it was changed into Shagang town. By the end of 2018, there were 10281 households and 41762 people in Shagang town. As of June 2020, Shagang town has one community and 15 administrative villages.

In 2018, the total agricultural output value of Shagang town was 1.175 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.53%; the industrial investment increased by 178.98%; the fiscal revenue was 6.18 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 51.84%; the social fixed asset investment was 73 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.66%.

The river is 12.8 km long and the flow is 1.31 m3 / s.
