Taihe Town

Taihe Town, subordinate to Nanfeng County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the southeast of Nanfeng County, bordering Xicheng township of Lichuan County and Jianning County of Fujian Province in the East, Fufang Township in the south, Baishe town in the west, Sangtian town and Taiyuan Township in the north. With an area of 198.7 square kilometers, the town governs 10 administrative villages, 1 community and 131 village groups. In late 2018, Taihe Town had 25 thousand and 300 registered residence population.

History of construction

In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to the fourth district; in 1958, Taihe commune was established; in 1984, Taihe commune was abolished and Taihe Township was established; in 1985, Taihe Township was changed into Taihe Town.

Taihe Town is located in the southeast of Nanfeng County, bordering Xicheng township of Lichuan County and Jianning County of Fujian Province in the East, Fufang Township in the south, Baishe town in the west, Sangtian town and Taiyuan Township in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 17 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 20 kilometers, with a total area of 198.7 square kilometers.

Most of Taihe Town belongs to hilly area, with high terrain in Southeast and northwest, low terrain in the middle, undulating peaks in southeast, belonging to Wuyi Mountains, papaya pass, the main peak, 753 meters above sea level, and river valley plain in the middle of Taihe Town.
