Daxing Town, subordinate to Qianwei County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province, is located at the junction of Yibin, Zigong and Leshan. It is 31.04km away from Qianwei county. It is adjacent to Liujia Town, Yibin City in the East, Xinmin Town in the south, longkong town in the West and Jinhua Township, Rong County, Zigong City in the north. Historical evolution

At the beginning of the late Qing Dynasty, there were only a few small shops in daxingchang. Because there was a big pond at the entrance of daxingchang, it was named Datang Village. Since then, the market business has been booming and the market has been expanding, forming a rush period, so it was renamed daxingchang.

In 1935, it was Daxing Township.

After liberation, land reform was divided into Daxing Township and Heping township.
