Daxing Town

Daxing town belongs to Pujiang County, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, located in the northwest of Pujiang County. In 1992, the township was removed to build a town.

Daxing Town, covering an area of 59.17 square kilometers, governs eight administrative villages, one community and 111 resident groups, with a total population of 12867 (2017), mainly Han nationality.

The construction of small towns was started in 1998, and was listed as "provincial pilot town of small towns" in 2001.

Township enterprises have food, chemical, wine, grain processing plants. Agricultural production of rice, wheat, corn, rapeseed, and also produce trees, citrus, raising pigs, poultry. Natural gas reserves are abundant. There is a scenic spot in Jiujian mountain. Li Jiayu, the Anti Japanese general, was born here.

It connects Gaoqiao Township and Xilai town in the East, Chaoyang Lake Town and southwest Township in the south, Chengjia Town, Ganxi town and Maohe Township in Mingshan County in the west, Datang town and Fuxing Township in the north. The geographical coordinates are 130 ° 24'e. the terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast. The climate is mild. The annual average temperature is 16 ℃ and the average rainfall is about 1266 mm. The altitude is 594-608 meters. The annual dominant wind direction is northeast wind. Xiaowumianshan is distributed in the whole town, with luxuriant trees and good vegetation. The forest coverage rate is 48.2%, and the total cultivated land area is 22482.97 mu.

Business and trade in the town. In 2006, a 495 meter long Xingyuan street was built. In May 2006, Jiuxian Shengjing Cultural Park was put into construction.
