Xinglong farm belongs to Wanning County, Hainan Province.

Xinglong farm is located in Wanning County in the southeast of Hainan Province, 25 kilometers away from Wanning County, 205 kilometers away from Haiyu east highway, which passes through Xinglong hot spring tourist area. Xinglong farm is located in Xinglong Town, just by the beautiful sun river. It is a famous tourist attraction in Hainan Province with strong overseas Chinese customs and beautiful tropical scenery. Xinglong has a long history. In 1137, Wan'an Prefecture was abolished as Nanning county and subordinate to Qiongzhou. In 1137, Wan'an army was restored and Wan'an and Lingshui counties were led. It can be seen that Xinglong area is under the jurisdiction of Wan'an army. In the Yuan Dynasty, Qiongzhou road began to penetrate,. In 1307, Wanning army was Wanzhou, and Wan'an county was named Wanning county. The Qing Dynasty ruled the Ming Dynasty. In 1914, Wanzhou was changed to Wanning County, and Xinglong was still under the jurisdiction of Wanning county. it is sparsely populated, densely forested, overgrown with weeds, infested with wild animals, closed to traffic, and inhabited by Li compatriots. During the Qing Dynasty, an honest official surnamed Feng came to live here. At that time, he cultivated betel nut, coconut and other tropical economic crops by the Sun River. The local people produce agricultural and sideline products. When the market trade here, a small market will be formed. From then on, the small market will be lively. The official named the place "Xinglong". Xinglong has been followed up to now. In the past, there were only more than 10 cottages in Xinglong, where Li compatriots and several Han families lived. After liberation, in 1951, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council decided to develop and construct Xinglong, organizing the first group of Returned Overseas Chinese with more than 700 people to come to Xinglong market on the Bank of the Taiyang River to set up Xinglong overseas Chinese farm. Since then, more than 12000 returned overseas Chinese from 21 countries and regions have been resettled in Xinglong farm. The population grew to 36570 (2010). The total area is 160000 mu. Over the past 40 years, the vast number of Returned Overseas Chinese have been working hard to build their homes, reclaim wasteland, and vigorously develop tropical cash crops dominated by rubber, coffee and pepper.
