Jinsha Town, subordinate to Minqing County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, is located in the west of Minqing County and adjacent to tangchuan Township, Youxi County. It is 150-805 meters above sea level and 23 kilometers away from Minqing Chengguan. It has jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages and 1 community neighborhood committee. The prominent features of Jinsha town are: first, it is the "hometown of forestry". The forest coverage rate of the whole town is 86.3%, the forest volume is 1.1 million cubic meters, and the state-owned Meizi forest farm with an area of 100000 Mu is located in the town. The second is the "hometown of Hydropower". The first hydropower station in the county was built in the middle reaches of jinshaxi river. Jinshaxi hydropower development won the third prize of science and technology progress award of the Ministry of hydropower. There are 5 reservoirs and 45 hydropower stations in the county, with a total installed capacity of 19240 kW and an annual power generation of 86.8 million kWh. Third, transportation hub. 126 County Road and "Fuyin" expressway run through the territory, and Jinsha interchange of "Fuyin" expressway is set up. After the opening of "Baijin" connecting line, Jinsha town has become a transportation hub from the hinterland of Minqing to the outside of the county. Every village in the territory of cement road, traffic is very convenient.

Historical evolution

Jinsha commune was established in 1961 and the township was changed in 1984. In 1997, Jinsha town was divided into 18 administrative villages: Helin, Hedun, Wotou, Guanghui, Santai, Guangfeng, Qiankeng, Xitou, Xialin, Qianmian, Xianping, Dongkeng, Yunji, Baofeng, Chengmen, Wuling, Guyang and chongkeng.

Jinsha River runs through the whole territory from west to East. The loess soil around Helong, Guangfeng and Xialin is rich in iron sand, so it is named "Jinsha". As early as the Qing Dynasty, some local people used water to wash sand, built local blast furnaces to make iron, and sold it to neighboring counties and cities. There are quartz deposits in the mountains from Guyang to langtangyang, and peat coal in Yunji village. Funing highway passes through the whole area along jinshaxi. There are many high mountains in the territory, so there are many streams, large drop, rich hydraulic resources, which are conducive to stage development. There are 31 hydropower stations, large and small, with an installed capacity of 9680 kW.

Taking advantage of Jinsha interchange of Fuyang Yinchuan expressway, our town has vigorously developed the "crossing" economy, planned a 1500 mu industrial concentration area (belonging to Wotou area of Baijin Industrial Park) around the interchange, and introduced Shanjin electrical appliances, Xinsheng logistics, Auchan ceramics, xinhongji plastics, YONGGU building materials, Nanyang Yanhang, Jinhualong feed, electrical and porcelain joint electrical projects, which were put into operation in September Jinhualong feed project has entered trial production; land acquisition for Dr. Nong and kangruida projects has been completed, and nearly 90% of the earth and stone works have been leveled; the preliminary work of "Green Valley", "guochuang" biotechnology and Zhongnan heavy industry project is being accelerated, and the enterprises have settled in the concentrated area to realize cluster development.
