Duoji Township

Bomi County, Nyingchi City, Tibet Autonomous Region governs townships and nine administrative villages, including Jiaojiao village, maojiang village, Mugu village, Kuala village, Xiba village, dada village, paxiong village, Deji village and Tongshen village. Located in the eastern part of Bomi County, Linzhi City, Tibet, Quzong Zangbu river basin is 75 kilometers away from the county seat. The precipitation from March to October accounts for 93.5% of the whole year, mainly rainy warm and humid weather, and an annual relative humidity of 71%.

Quzong Zangbu river originates from lazong snow mountain and runs through the whole Township from north to south. It flows into the Qianlong Zangbu river at the village of GNI, songzong Town, with a total length of 95.3 km.

Xiba Village

Located on the other side of the Zangbu River in Quzong township government, about 4 km away from the township government, there are 50 households and 223 people. Xiba bear fighting opera has been listed as the intangible cultural heritage of the autonomous region, and it is the most distinctive folk culture resource of the whole village.

Dada Village

Located on the East Bank of the Zangbu River in Quzong, about 3 kilometers away from the township government, there are 48 households and 272 people. The village is close to mountains and rivers with beautiful scenery. There are many wild animals and plants in the beautiful Dahu lake. The original ecological environment is well protected. The traditional dacaima Festival is the most distinctive folk cultural activity in the village.

Paxiong Village

Located in the southeast of the township government, about 13 kilometers away from the township government, it governs two natural villages with 50 households and 265 people. Paxiong Reba dance has been listed as the intangible cultural heritage of the autonomous region, and is the most distinctive folk cultural resources of the whole village.

Corner Village

It is about 15 kilometers away from the township government and borders on Kangyu township. It governs five natural villages with 73 households and 409 people. The village has the most abundant forest resources such as Tricholoma matsutake and Cordyceps sinensis. Corner folk songs are well-known in the whole county.

Maojiang Village

Located in the south of the township government, about 10 kilometers away from the township government, it has jurisdiction over two natural villages with 66 households and 342 people.

Mugu Village

Located in the south of the township government, about 9 kilometers away from the township government, it has jurisdiction over three natural villages with 41 households and 192 people.

In 2012, the asphalt highway from national highway 318 to Duoji township was completed and opened to traffic. in August 2018, the land development project of dada village in Duoji township was accepted, with a construction scale of 145.35 Mu and a total investment of 719500 yuan.

Duoji township has built a Township Central Primary School, covering an area of more than 10 mu. Xiba fighting bear

the Xiba bear fighting festival in bomidoji township is a traditional folk activity held by Xiba village, which is located under the holy mountain of Dumu (translated as Guanyin Buddha statue in Tibetan) from June 15 to 16 every year. The festival has a history of more than 100 years. The activities are rich and colorful with unique forms. It mainly focuses on fighting bears, making bears and releasing bears. It integrates sketches, folk songs and dances. It instills in people the ideology of protecting wildlife and ecological balance, and embodies the local people's concept of living in harmony with nature since ancient times. on the first day of the activity, each family went to the top of Shenshan mountain to make preparations, such as fetching water, cutting firewood and setting up tents. Before dawn on the second day, the farmers and herdsmen in the village dressed in festival costumes and brought rich food such as meat, butter and highland barley wine. In this activity, seven strong men play bear, two humorous villagers play hunter, and three old people who know a little law, are older and have prestige play judge. After the fight with Xiong Youxi, the judge played by three old people educate the hunter on forest laws and wildlife protection. The hunter constantly retorts, and both sides have humorous words, which makes him amused The villagers around laughed. Finally, the hunters offered hada to the elder and admitted their mistake. after fighting bears, the whole village jumped to Guozhuang until all cultural activities ended.

Dada race horse

Dada is the name of a village. The environment of the village is beautiful. There are lots of wild ducks all around the primeval forest. They are playing on the beautiful dada Lake beside the village carefree, which is very quiet and beautiful. Although the village is not big, it has many famous festivals with a long history, one of which is the Dacai Horse Festival. The Tibetan meaning of "Da" means "arrow" and "Da" means "horse". The theme of "Da" horse racing is also a mass activity of archery and horse racing. Therefore, the name of "Da" village is also derived from this activity and festival. In the horse racing festival, according to tradition, every family has to take part in one horse and one rider.
