Hushan town

Hushan Town, belonging to Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southernmost part of Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County. It faces the Democratic People's Republic of Korea across the river in the southeast, Zhenan district across the Aihe River in the south, Dongtang town of Fengcheng City in the west, and yangmuchuan town and Changdian town in the north, with an administrative area of 212 square kilometers.

In the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), Hushan village was transferred from Anton County; in October 1998, it was renamed Hushan town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Hushan town was 12763. As of June 2020, 9 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of Hushan town.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of Hushan town was 10 million yuan. Among them, the local fiscal revenue is 7 million yuan. In 2018, there were 12 industrial enterprises in Hushan Town, including one above scale and 24 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1937, Hushan village was included from Anton county.

In December 1947, Hushan district was established.

In 1958, Hushan commune was established.

In 1983, it was renamed Hushan township.

In 1985, it was renamed Hushan Manchu Autonomous township.

In October 1998, the township was set up and renamed Hushan town.
