Bayi Road Street, subordinate to Xigang District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the south coast of Xigang District. It borders Taoyuan Street of Zhongshan District in the East and Southeast, Yellow Sea in the south, Jinshan Beach in the southwest, Baishan road street of Shahekou District, Baiyun Street and people's Square Street in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 3.9 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 3.4 kilometers, with a total area of 6.8 square kilometers.
In March 1949, Bayi Road, Lingqian district was established. In 1952, fanggongsuo was changed into a neighborhood committee. In 1956, Bayi Road was transformed into Bayi Road street. In March 1960, it was incorporated into Taoyuan Street of Zhongshan District and Taoyuan Street commune was established. In September 1960, it was changed to Taoyuan branch of Zhongshan commune. In 1963, communes were transformed into streets. By the end of 2011, Bayi Road had a total population of 46387, including 46387 urban permanent residents, with an urbanization rate of 100%. As of June 2020, Bayi Road has jurisdiction over 8 communities, and the sub district office is located at 358 Changchun Road.
