A large number of revolutionary cultural relics are preserved in the base. The former site of the revolutionary base of Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou has been listed as a national patriotic education demonstration base, and has been included in 100 red tourist attractions and 30 national tourist attractions One of the best routes of red tourism. the tourism value of the revolutionary base of Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou has not been reflected, nor has it been well publicized. The local tourism consciousness can not keep up with that of the government. A large part of it is closely related to the culture of the government personnel. For such a town with a special history, it is still developing slowly. The lack of resources is an important factor, but the development of humanities is the most important. Only when people's awareness of development is improved, can they have a good development. Hunan Hubei Sichuan Guizhou revolutionary base is one of the important revolutionary bases founded under the leadership of the Communist Party of China during the second Civil Revolutionary War. From the end of 1933 to the spring of 1936, it experienced several stages of formation and development. In December 1933, the Western Hunan Hubei Branch of the Communist Party of China put forward the slogan of "creating a new Soviet Area in Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou" at the Dacun meeting. On October 24 of the next year, the second and sixth Red Army Corps joined forces in Muhuang, and then launched an offensive in Western Hunan, forming a revolutionary base area of Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou, with Yongshun, Dayong, Longshan and Sangzhi as the center, including Cili, Xuanen, Xianfeng counties, and some areas along the border of Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou. In the process of establishment and development of the revolutionary base areas in Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou, the Soviet regimes at all levels of the CPC Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou Provincial Committee, provincial military region, county, district and township were successively established. The revolutionary base areas carried out a vigorous agrarian revolution, Red Army expansion and various constructions in the base areas. The unity of the army and the people smashed the "encirclement" of more than 80 enemy regiments and broke through more than 130 enemy regiments The blockade completed the historical task of containing the enemy and cooperating with the revolutionary struggle of the Central Red Army in the long march and other base areas, and carried out a strategic shift. On November 19, 1935, the red army withdrew from the base areas and won the long march. Tawo is the center of the revolutionary base area of Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou. In order to remember the great achievements of the revolutionary predecessors, the monument of revolutionary martyrs was built in 1981, and the memorial hall of the revolutionary base area of Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou was established with the approval of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China in 1985.
