Chen Ge old house

Chen GE's old residence is the former residence of Chen Yuanlong, the prince of Qing Dynasty, the great scholar of wenyuange, the Minister of rites and the Minister of industry.

The residence is located in Yanguan City, Zhejiang Province. It was built in the late Ming Dynasty when Chen Yuanlong, Zeng Zuchen and Xiang Shi. After paying homage to the prime minister, Chen Yuanlong rebuilt and expanded it, changed the gate into a bamboo leaf, and added "Shuangqing thatched cottage" and "Junxiang hall", which had the style of the inner courtyard of the imperial palace.

The former Prime Minister's residence still has the main road sedan hall, dongpianfang ancestral hall, dormitory, Shuangqing thatched cottage and Junxiang hall. Other major buildings such as "hundred table hall" and "love day hall" have been destroyed. It still covers an area of more than 4700 square meters and a construction area of 1100 square meters. The sedan hall is the gate of the old house. Facing the river in the north, it is imposing. When you enter the gate, you can see the buildings in the south. The first entrance to the east road is the ancestral hall of the Chen family. There are three buildings in the south, which are the bedrooms of the Chen family. There are high walls in front of the bedrooms. Today, the walls have not been restored. There are three small halls. After the Anlan garden was abandoned, there is a plaque of "Junxiang hall" in the garden, which was once moved to this hall, so it is now called Junxiang.

Although the garden is small, it has a curved bridge and flowing water. The mountains, rocks, flowers and trees are all of their own. The environment is quiet and elegant.
