Moon Lake Reservoir Scenic Spot is located in Da'an City, Jilin Province. It is located at the intersection of Taoer River and Nenjiang River. The lake covers an area of more than 200 square kilometers. It is shimmering and boundless. It is known as the moon bubble of "prairie pearl" and is now renamed "Moon Lake".

Introduction to scenic spots

Yueliangpao, known as "the Pearl of Grassland", is located in Da'an City, Jilin Province, at the intersection of Taoer River and Nenjiang River. The lake covers an area of more than 200 square kilometers, and is now renamed "Yuelianghu". The formation of Yuelianghu has a long history and moving legend. According to the records of Liao history, it is March 1025, the fifth year of Taiping of liaoshengzong. Yuerluo (Moon bubble) in Changchun River (today's Tao'er River) has a sound like thunder in one night. It is steep 40 Li over Shagang (i.e. an earthquake), resulting in a curved lake connected by water. Because the two pools are shaped like a curved moon, they are called "salanna pool" in Mongolian, which means "moon bubble" in Chinese. All emperors of Liao Dynasty went to moon bubble for "Chunna" every spring The emperor took the lead in "digging ice to get fish" and set up a "fish head banquet" to entertain the officials to share the peace and prosperity.

It's a curved lake connected by water. Walk along the bank, enjoy the scenery and relax.
