Taoyuan Street

Taoyuan Street, belonging to Nanguan District, Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the east of Nanguan District. It faces east station street of Erdao District across Yitong River in the East, connects Yongji street with Jiefang Road in the south, connects Quanan street with Yatai street in the west, and connects Changtong street with Changchun Street in the north. In 1946, Taoyuan District was under the jurisdiction of Taoyuan branch; in October 1980, Taoyuan community was changed into Taoyuan Street. In 2011, the total population of Taoyuan Street was 37183. History of construction

During the period of northeast occupied by Japanese, Taoyuan town of Changchun District was set up. In 1946, Taoyuan branch was established. In October 1948, it belonged to Dongtian street, Taoyuan Street and Dongdaqiao street in Changchun District.

In 1953, it belonged to Dongda, Dongtian and Taoyuan communities.

In August 1955, it belonged to Dongda and Taoyuan streets.

In November 1958, Dongda street was merged into Taoyuan Street.
