Dagu Street
The newly established Dagu street is located in the central and southern part of Tianjin Binhai New Area, adjacent to Tianjin's mother river Haihe River in the north, Bohai Sea in the East and Dagang District in the southwest. It covers an area of more than 160 square kilometers and has a population of 43425 (2010).
On January 9, 2019, Dagu street was selected as the "hometown of Chinese folk culture and art" in 2018-2020 by virtue of Dagu dragon lantern.
Historical evolution
Xidagu street is the earliest village in Tanggu. In 1949, it set up the Third Street Office of Tangda street and Xigu Street Office (the street office was renamed street in 1954), and in 1953, it set up lvjuhe township. Lujuhe Township
It covers an area of 65 square kilometers and has a population of 2000. It governs two administrative villages, Luju River and gaoshaling. In April 2000, dongdagu street, xidagu street and lvjuhe Township were abolished and merged to form Dagu street. In December 2001, Dagu fishery management office and marine fishery company were merged into Dagu street. Taku Forts
Dagukou Fort site is located in Dagu street, Binhai New Area, Tianjin. It was originally located on the north and south sides of Haihe River. It is known as "the screen of Jinmen". Beiyang shipyard
