Zhangjiatun town is subordinate to Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province. It is located in the westernmost part of Jiaozhou City, adjacent to the cities of Weifang. It is the second village in the westernmost part of Jiaozhou, 7 li away from the boundary between Qingdao and Weifang. The total land area is 167 hectares. The total population in 2010 was 2013.
In 2001, when Jiaozhou City made a new administrative division for some towns, Zhangjiatun town was abolished and merged into Puji town.
Zhangjiatun town was originally named Mengjiatun. In 1369, the Meng family moved from Hongtong County, Shanxi Province to Licun. Later, because of the official position of the Meng family in Beijing, they fled the town for fear of being implicated. Later, most of the surnames were Zhang, which was changed to Zhangjiatun. Before liberation, it was under the jurisdiction of the Sixth District of Jiaoxian county. Jiaohe county was established in 1948, and the village was under its jurisdiction. In 1953, Jiaohe county was abolished, and Zhangjiatun belonged to Puji. In 1958, the people's commune was established under Dongfeng people's commune. In July 1962, Zhangjiatun people's commune was set up, which was separated from Puji. ZHANGJIATUN township was established in 1984, and changed from township to town in 1992, all of which are located in Zhangjiatun.
Zhangjiatun village is located about 7km southwest of Puji town. It is adjacent to Sunjia village in the north, Lujia village in the East, Xintun village, qingzhongpo village and yinjiazhuang village in the south, and niugou village in the West. The total land area of the village is 167 hectares, including 14 hectares for residential areas and secondary and tertiary industries, and 153 hectares for cultivated land.
Zhangjiatun village has flat terrain, convenient transportation (Jiaozhou Zhangjiatun line every 15 minutes, holidays shortened to 5 minutes), and complete service facilities in public places. Zhuzhu Road (217 provincial road) passes through the village. Zhanglin road is close to the west of the village. Dongzhang Road (s328 provincial road) is near the south of the village. There is a market in the village. There are secondary schools, primary schools, kindergartens, health centers, telecommunications, postal, rural power, credit cooperatives and other departments in the village have branches, and tobacco planting demonstration base has been built. In addition, there are industrial enterprises and commercial outlets such as American Jason musical instrument Co., Ltd. and Jiaozhou Kaiyuan Valve Co., Ltd.
In 2000, there were 600 households in the village, with a total population of 2013. There are 18 surnames, including Zhang, Wang, Liu, Xu and Li, mainly Han nationality, and one Korean nationality.
Among them, the most famous one is Zhangjiatun roast meat, which has a special counter in Jiaozhou and other large supermarkets. At the same time, roast chicken is also quite delicious, unique flavor.
