Tiexi street, subordinate to Pulandian District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northern suburb of Pulandian District, adjacent to Fengrong street in the East, Pulandian Economic Development Zone (Taiping Street) in Dalian in the south, Paotai street in Jinzhou District in the West and Yuantai town in Wafangdian City in the north, with a total area of 118 square kilometers.
In August 1993, the west part of Fengrong Street Railway in Pulandian City was divided out, and Tiexi street in Pulandian City was established. In April 2002, huaershan township was merged into Tiexi street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Tiexi sub district was 47807, including 24781 permanent urban residents, with an urbanization rate of 51.8%. As of June 2020, Tiexi street has jurisdiction over 12 communities, and its sub district office is located at 53 huaershan community Avenue.
