Beimen street, located in the north of Chuzhou City, is the north gate of chucheng City, covering an area of about 1.6 square kilometers. Beimen sub district office was originally Beimen sub district committee of Chengguan Town, Chuxian county. In 1982, Chuzhou City (county level) was established; in 1984, the east gate, South Gate, west gate, north gate and Langya offices under the jurisdiction of the former Chengguan town were upgraded to township level units. In 1993, Beimen sub district office was under the leadership of Langya district Party committee and government, and was the agency of the government.

Administrative division
