Anliang town

Anliang town is a town under the jurisdiction of Jia County, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province. It is located 8 kilometers north of Jia County, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province. It borders Shenlong town of Yuzhou City in the north, and Zhongtou Town, Baimiao Township and Huangdao Township in the East, South and West.

Historical evolution

Anliang town has a long history. According to the research on the cultural relics unearthed from the Peiligang cultural site of Shuiquan village in Anliang Town, as early as 8000 years ago, human beings settled and multiplied in this hot land of Anliang. According to the existing stone tablet records, in the 7th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty, Anliang town was named "Anle town". He was named "Anliang town" in 1947. It was once the center of the Yujia Anti Japanese base. In June 1945, the sixth prefectural committee, the sixth special office and the sixth military division of the Henan district Party committee of the Communist Party of China were successively set up in Caogou village of Anliang Town, commanding the Anti Japanese struggle, the land reform movement and the anti hegemonic struggle of the Qing Dynasty. Many popular revolutionary stories have been circulating so far. Anliang commune was established in 1958, township was changed in 1984, and town was established in 1989. In 1997, it covers an area of 97 square kilometers and has a population of 53000.
