Heshan Town

Heshan Town is one of the five central towns in Pujiang County and one of the key development towns in China. Heshan Town is the seat of Pujiang County, which enjoys the "green Pujiang, natural oxygen bar" and the national ecological environment construction demonstration county and the national animal disease demonstration area without regulations. It is the political, economic, cultural and business center of the whole county, and gets its name from Heshan in the north of the city.

The town covers an area of 112.2 square kilometers, governs 27 villages, 287 communities, 7 communities, 30903 households (including 15136 rural households and 15767 urban households), 82564 people (including 47995 rural population and 34569 urban population), 35724 labor force, and labor export is more than 12000 people.

It is 69 kilometers away from Chengdu in the East, 45 kilometers away from Ya'an in the west, 25 kilometers away from Danling in the South and 27 kilometers away from Qionglai in the north. Archaeology

In September 2016, a group of high-grade large ship coffin tombs in the late Warring States period was found in Pujiang County.

On February 8, 2017, Chengdu Institute of cultural relics and Archaeology released this archaeological achievement. According to reports, a total of 60 tombs were found in this archaeological work. Among the 43 tombs excavated, more than 300 precious cultural relics, such as bronzes, lacquered wood and pottery, have been unearthed. Experts speculate that these tombs are likely to be the family cemeteries or settlement public cemeteries of senior officials stationed by the highest authority in Sichuan to control the salt mine in Pujiang. The unearthed 11 "Bashu seals" with mysterious patterns and symbols will provide research objects for answering whether ancient Shu had characters. In addition, the unearthed "Dragonfly eye" ornaments also prove once again that Sichuan has already started economic, trade and cultural exchanges with foreign countries.

Economics

After years of practice and exploration, the industrial development of Heshan Town is mainly positioned as follows: first, actively adjust the agricultural industrial structure, and vigorously develop the modern agriculture based on the three leading industries of "fruit, tea and livestock". Heshan Town is the key industrial development park of Pujiang County, extending along the ten mile long street to Tianhua. Since 2003, the town has transferred a large number of human, material and financial resources to vigorously promote the land acquisition and demolition work, with a total of more than 60 cases of land acquisition, more than 3000 mu and more than 300 households demolished.
