Yongxing
Yongxing Town is located in the northeast of Kaijiang County, Sichuan Province. It is 8 kilometers away from the county, 85 kilometers away from Heshi airport and 80 kilometers away from Dazhou railway station. In October 1933, eight regiments of the fourth and ninth armies of the red army attacked Yongxing and fought fiercely with the third division of Wang LINGJI of the Kuomintang. In December 2000, it was approved by the provincial government as the provincial pilot town construction.
On December 18, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Dazhou city to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Tongchuan District and other five counties (districts) (cfzm [2019] No. 21): Xintai township was abolished and its administrative region was put under the jurisdiction of Yongxing Town. After the adjustment, Yongxing Town governs the administrative areas of the original Xintai Township and Yongxing community, tangfangba village, Longtouqiao village, jiankouya village, menkanpo village, liujiaping village, yaojiaba village, fangjiagou village, xijiaba village and hejiayakou village, and Yongxing Town People's government is stationed at No. 17 Xinyuan street.
Historical evolution
Yongxing Town was formerly known as Yongxing field. In 1906, it was named Yongxing township. In 1958, it was changed into Yongxing commune; in 1984, it was renamed Yongxing township; in December 1992, it was changed from Yongxing township to Yongxing Town.

Yongxing river passes through the territory, which is high in the East, West and North and low in the south. Wuzhishan balsam pear trough, the highest peak, is 1100 meters above sea level. The average annual temperature is 17 ℃, and the annual rainfall is 1150-1300 mm.
Mineral resources mainly include coal, limestone, coal gangue, shale, etc., rich in natural gas, which is connected with the natural gas source of Qilong Township, and constitutes one of the largest gas fields in East Sichuan, with 5 natural gas wells. The famous hantianba coal mine and Longquanshan coal mine are well-known both inside and outside the province. It mainly produces rice, corn, wheat, beans, potatoes, peanuts, rape, vegetables, medicinal materials, fruits, olives, etc. There are pig, cattle, sheep, poultry, fish and so on.
Population nationality
In 2005, there were 8024 households and 32096 people in the town, including 3004 non-agricultural people. There are 18 ethnic minorities, including Dong, Miao, Tujia and Hui.

Municipal construction has been strengthened. Before 1986, there was only one Baiban street. By the end of 2005, the number of streets had increased rapidly to six, with a total area of 15000 square kilometers. There are 2 farmers' markets, 1 postal hall, 2 postal distribution points, 1 mobile and Unicom website, 3154 program-controlled telephones and 2386 mobile telephones installed in the town. There are 2 waterworks, 1 substation and 1 power supply station, which are connected with water and electricity.
There are 21 village roads, 100% villages and 97% group roads in the town. There are 159 vans and 523 motorcycles, so the transportation is very convenient.
There are 316 factories in the town, including hardware, general merchandise, food, wine making, coal mine, gangue brick factory, fine coal washing factory, building materials enterprise, individual business and so on. There are 12 breeding bases for improved breeds of pigs and cattle and 60 cows. In 2005, the introduction of funds in longtougou village built Yongfa ten thousand pig breeding base. The town's GDP reached 148.73 million yuan, including 58.02 million yuan for the primary industry, 54.36 million yuan for the secondary industry and 36.35 million yuan for the tertiary industry. The total output of grain is 19900 tons, meat 5800 tons and fruit 1700 tons. The annual per capita net income of farmers is 2636 yuan.
social undertakings
In 1996, nine-year compulsory education was popularized. In 2005, the town has one complete middle school, two central schools, seven village primary schools and one town central kindergarten. There are 1639 middle school students, 2731 primary school students and 297 children in the kindergarten. The school sports activities were carried out in an orderly way. The women's football team of Yongxing primary school won the first place in the "sprout Cup" competition of Sichuan Province in August 1989.

In 2000, the multifunctional thresher invented by Cai Lixing, a farmer in menkanpo village, won the patent right of Sichuan Province. In April 2001, Li kunquan, Secretary of liujiaping village Party branch, was awarded the title of "model worker" by the provincial government. In December 2004, Yongxing Town Central School was established as "the second batch of green schools in Sichuan Province".
