Xinhua Town

Xinhua Town is located in the seat of the county Party committee and government, at the junction of one county and six townships (one county is Funing County, six townships are Lida Town, Guichao Town, Muyang Town, banlun Town, Huajia town and Dongbo town). It is the economic, political and cultural exchange center of the whole county. National Highway 323, Guangzhou Kunming Expressway and Yunnan Guangxi railway under construction run through the whole territory. They are the main traffic routes from Yunnan to Guangdong, Guangdong and coastal areas.

The ethnic customs and cultures are different, and the types of ethnic costumes are diverse. Zhuang nationality has three long Duan street in March, ghost festival in July and half, Miao nationality has Huashan Festival, and Yao nationality has the most grand pan Wang Festival and ancestor worship Festival. In zhubao Miao village, Yanna village committee of Xinhua Town, there is a well-known Lusheng literature and art team of Miao farmers in zhubao. The Yao bronze drum of yapai village group of Naping village committee has been handed down until now. In 2003, it was recognized by the staff of the county revolutionary memorial hall as the bronze drum of the late Zunyi type and the song and Yuan Dynasties.
