Zhonghe town

Zhonghe town is located in the middle of Xiushan Autonomous County, which belongs to Chengguan town. It is the political, economic and cultural center of the county, and the seat of county-level party and government organs. Covering an area of 86.75 square kilometers, the town has jurisdiction over 11 community neighborhood committees, 66 resident groups and 15 village committees, 114 villager groups, with a total of 22000 households, 83000 people, an agricultural population of 44000 and a rural labor force of 28000.

There are 24989 mu of cultivated land, including 20806 mu of farmland and 4183 mu of soil. Meijiang River and Pingjiang River, the two largest rivers in the county, pass through the county. Meijiang river is the main source of water for the county. There are also 4 large and small reservoirs and 29 shanpingtang, which are rich in water resources. Zhonghe town has convenient transportation, where national highway 319 and 326 intersect.
