Zhonghe town

Zhonghe Town, also known as Zhonghe polder and also known as "Xidong", is located in the west of Ningyuan County, a famous historical and cultural city, and is subordinate to Ningyuan County, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, China. It is adjacent to mianhuaping Yao Township, Renhe Town and Shunling town in the East, Tiantang town in the south, Jiedao county and Shuangpai County in the west, qingshuiqiao town and baijiaping town in the north. The town uses the natural place name of zhongyuwei. The town government is stationed in zhongyuwei, which has jurisdiction over 9 communities and 27 village committees, with a total area of 302.51 square kilometers (2017), 2466.7 hectares of cultivated land and 49030 people (2017).

Zhonghe Town, surrounded by mountains and forming a basin, is one of the main grain and timber producing areas in Ningyuan county. The main economic crops are flue-cured tobacco, Camellia oleifera, ginger, soybean, hawthorn seed and red melon seed. With the completion of Ningzhong highway oil chemical engineering and the widening of wuligou section, the traffic conditions have improved significantly.

Historical evolution

Before 1995, it was Zhonghe polder.

In 1995, Zhonghe Township, Xinkai Township, Baohe Township and Mutou Township were merged into Zhonghe Town, and the three villages of the former state-owned Baiyunshan forest farm were also included.

In 2013, lengshuidong village and pailouwu village were designated as guitongshan street.

It is under the jurisdiction of Zhonghe town.

Economic situation

In town economy, business economy and township enterprises account for a large proportion. The annual GDP of the town is 201 million yuan, and the annual fiscal revenue is 3.8 million yuan. There are antimony smelters, concentrators, red brick factories, bamboo and wood processing plants. There are 6 middle schools, 70 primary schools and 5 medical institutions. The main monuments are the Han and Jin tombs in shanmuyuan and other places, and the Neolithic sites in luantouling, Baofeng village. The wuligou section of Baohe has green water and green mountains. The Chunshui bridge built in the Qing Dynasty is flying across both sides of the river. It's as spectacular as a rainbow. It's under construction as a tourist attraction.

Ouyang Xiaoping (January 1961): academician of Chinese Academy of engineering, doctoral supervisor, major general. At present, he is alternate member of the 19th CPC Central Committee, Dean of School of materials science and engineering, Xiangtan University, and researcher of Northwest Institute of nuclear technology.

Ouyang first class (1999 -): National shooter. On March 23, 2018, he fought side by side with his teammate Yu Haicheng in the flying saucer men's multidirectional competition of the Australian youth shooting World Cup, winning the men's team champion and personal second place.

Villages under the jurisdiction

Jingzikou:

Located in chaziyuan pass, named after the well in front of the village. The village committee is located in jingzikou and has jurisdiction over five villager groups, including jingzikou, jideqiu and qingleyuan. It covers an area of 1.6 square kilometers, with 20.7 hectares of arable land, 128 households and 504 people.

Tea Garden:

It is famous for its rich oil tea. The village committee is located in chaziyuan and has jurisdiction over 16 villager groups, including chaziyuan, duanyuanyuan and kuangjia. It covers an area of 1.9 square kilometers, with 35.8 hectares of arable land, 220 households and 887 people.

Shanlintang:

It is named after Tangda and Linmao. The village committee is located in shanlintang and has jurisdiction over six villager groups, including shanlintang and matichong. It covers an area of 1.9 square kilometers, 22 hectares of cultivated land, 151 households and 629 people.

Peace:

The image of the warehouse, formerly known as KULI, later changed to peace. The village committee is located in Heping and has jurisdiction over 16 villager groups. It covers an area of 8.3 square kilometers, with 85.4 hectares of arable land, 630 households and 2405 people.

Almond:

The terrain is like rock eagle, formerly known as rock Eagle pond, later changed to almond. The village committee is located in Renxing and has jurisdiction over 10 villager groups including Renxing and kongzuba. It covers an area of 2.7 square kilometers, with 30.3 hectares of arable land, 207 households and 802 people.

The village committee is located in dabaihua garden, and has jurisdiction over eight villager groups, including guanyinding, zhuangfangmenkou, Niutoushan, cuijiawuchang, zhoujiapeng, moshiwan, Hejia and tianetang. 8 hectares of cultivated land, 123 households, 490 people.

Yangliutian:

There are many willow trees beside the village. The village committee is located in yangliutian and has jurisdiction over five villager groups: yangliutian, luopotian, Xiaojia, chapaluo and daantang. It covers an area of 14.8 square kilometers, with 7.5 hectares of arable land, 124 households and 414 people.
