Xinglong Street

Yangzhong economic development zone is located in the southeast of Yangzhong City, Jiangsu Province. It governs eight villages (communities), with a total area of 27.4 square kilometers, a permanent population of 42000, a total area of 27.4 square kilometers, and a deep-water coastline of 7.2 kilometers.

Historical evolution

In November 2005, the original Sanmao town and Xinglong town were abolished and merged into Sanmao town. The new Sanmao Town, formed by the merger of the former Sanmao town and the former Xinglong Town, has a total area of 113.35 square kilometers, 29 administrative villages, 10 communities and a total population of 114900,

Economics

At present, there are nearly 500 enterprises in the economic development zone, including 49 Enterprises above Designated Size, 45 high-tech enterprises, 8 "top 30" industrial enterprises in the city, and 13 "Top 60" industrial enterprises in the city. The "3 + X" industrial function layout has been formed, with new energy, engineering electrical and port logistics as the leading industries, and nuclear valves, pipe fittings, automotive interior parts and other traditional industries as the support. With the accelerated construction of the core parts project of Great Wall Motor with a total investment of 9.5 billion yuan, advanced equipment manufacturing will become an emerging leading industry in the economic development zone.

administrative division

On October 22, 2011, with the approval of Jiangsu provincial government and Zhenjiang municipal government, Yangzhong City abolished Sanmao town and set up two sub district offices of Sanmao and Xinglong under its original jurisdiction. Sanmao sub district office manages 16 village committees including Dazhong, Qidong, Yingfang, Puji, Sanqiao, Minghua, guidao, Youhao, Jincheng, Xinghua, Binjiang, Yonghe, Minzhu, Zhonghua, Xingyang and Yongqin, and 14 neighborhood committees including Fengyu, Tongxin, Jianshe, Guangning, Jiangzhou Road, Wenhua new village, Yingxiong, Jinxing, Zhongqiao, Yangzi new village, Xinyang, Xinsheng, Ganglian and Xinmin Dao office manages 6 village committees of Fuyuan, Xingcheng, Hengyue, Xinxing, Deyun and Shuangyue, and 2 neighborhood committees of Xinglong and Sanyue.
