Dongxing Street
Dongxing Street, belonging to Donghe District, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Donghe District. It starts from Dongxing entrance and exit of Beijing Tibet Expressway in the East, borders Hedong town and Shaerqin town in the southeast, the Yellow River in the south, Hedong town in the southwest and West, Hedong town in the west, Daqingshan in the north and goumen village in the northeast. It is 13 kilometers away from the district government. The total area of the area is 36 square kilometers, with a total population of 32924 in 2011.
In 1956, Dongxing Street was established. In 1960, it was changed into Dengkou branch of Donghe District commune. In 1963, it was changed into Dengkou commune. In 1968, the commune was abolished and established. In 1971, Dengkou commune was restored. In 1979, it was changed into Dengkou street. In 1981, it was renamed Dongxing Street. In June 2020, Dongxing Street governs five communities.
