Jiefang Road Street

Jiefang Road Street is located in the northeast of Erqi District, Zhengzhou city. It starts from Zhengxing street in the south, ends at dongchenzhuang in the west, starts from Erqi road in the East and adjoins Guancheng District in the East, and ends at xitaikang road in the north and Jinshui District in the north. It is about 0.6 km long from north to South and 0.5 km wide from east to west, covering an area of about 0.29 square km. With the advantages of transportation and business center, it is known as the "Erqi business circle" in Zhengzhou.

Historical evolution

Jiefang Road branch of Erqi commune was established in 1958 and changed to Jiefang Road Street in 1961. In 1997, it covers an area of 0.3 square kilometers and has a population of 7000. It has jurisdiction over seven neighborhood committees, namely Minzhu street, Xier street, Guangming Hutong, Ziyou Road, Jiefang Road, Xiyi street and Erqi road.
