Qiansuo township is under the jurisdiction of Yanyuan County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Taozi township was established in 1953, changed to commune in 1972, and restored to township in 1984.

Qiansuo township is located in the southwest of the county, 81 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 239.8 square kilometers and has a population of 4000. Yanzuo highway passes through. Jurisdiction grass deer, peach, glass, Jiami four village committees. The main agricultural products in qiansuo township are potatoes, corn and miscellaneous grains. Animal husbandry is dominated by horses, cattle, sheep, pigs and birds. Copper reserves are large.
