Yangpo Township belongs to Xinfu District, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, with a total cultivated area of 12350 Mu and a permanent resident population of 1453 (2017).

Yangpo township of Xinfu District is located in the west of the urban area, adjacent to jingle in the West and Ningwu in the north, about 45 kilometers away from the urban area. The township government is located in Yangpo village. After the township and town were merged in 2002, the former houhebao Township and Siping Township were all merged under the jurisdiction of Yangpo township. Yangpo township is bordered by dongyanghu Township and cuijialiang township of Wencun Township, Sanjiao Town in the south, Ningwu County in the north and mopangou in Jingle County in the West.
