Xicheng Street

Xicheng sub district office, located in the west of Zhenxing District, Dandong City, was officially established in February 2009. It is an agency of the people's Government of Zhenxing District of Dandong City. It extends to the Shengli Bridge of Wudaohe River in maokuishan in the East, group 8 of Jixian village in Tangchi town in the west, Langtou Town People's Government in the south, substation village and Tongxing village in Tongxing town in the north. It is a combination of urban and rural areas. It covers an area of 7.4 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 34500 (in 2010), mostly Han nationality, as well as Manchu, Hui, Mongolian, Korean and other nationalities. The street governs Binjiang and Wafang two administrative villages, Qiaotou, Sidao, Wafang and Huanghai four community neighborhood committees, and light machinery, wool textile and Tongshan three mining committees. Among them, Binjiang village has three villager groups, 666 households and 1365 people.

Wafang village has seven villager groups with a permanent population of 34500 (2010). Binjiang village has 340 mu of collective land, 400 mu of private land and 1300 mu of state-owned forest land. Wafang village has a total cultivated area of 2800 mu (both water and dry land). The state-owned forest farm manages 1000 mu of mountain forest. Xicheng sub district office has a vast territory and convenient transportation. In the future, it will become a new urban area of Dandong City Planning and development, and the land has great appreciation space and investment value. Xicheng sub district office has a solid industrial foundation, with more than 70 industrial enterprises in the street. It has formed 22 large-scale enterprises, such as Huanghai automobile, Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., Huarong machinery factory, kanglingling toothpaste, Dandong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Wantong coking, etc., with broad development prospects and huge economic potential. The planning area of Xicheng chemical industry park is 1100 mu, which is suitable for the development of processing, casting, textile, food, building materials and other industries. Dandong City is the forefront of development and construction and the main battlefield, suitable for the development of fine chemical enterprises, the park traffic in all directions, water circuit and other infrastructure.
