Xindian town is under the jurisdiction of Pu'an County, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. In 2015, Xindian township was abolished and its administrative area was under the jurisdiction of the former Xindian township.

On July 29, 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name Xindian town as a national health township for the period of 2017-2019.

History of construction

On January 23, 2015, the people's Government of Guizhou Province approved the adjustment of township administrative divisions in Pu'an County, abolishing Xindian Township and setting up Xindian Town, which governs the administrative region of the original Xindian Township, and the people's Government of Xindian town is stationed in Xindian community.

On June 1, 2015, Xindian town was officially established.

As of 2014, Xindian town has jurisdiction over one community and five administrative villages, including Xindian community, Xizhen village, langmuqiao village, Huayue village, Yuhe village and Bozhen village.

Honors

On July 29, 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name Xindian town as a national health township for the period of 2017-2019.
