Handian town

Handian Town, belonging to Zouping City, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, is located in the middle of Zouping City, adjacent to Jiaoqiao town in the East, Daixi and Gaoxin streets in the south, Mingji town in the West and sun town in the north. The area is 85.73 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, Han Dian town had 41961 registered residence.

In 1958, the district was withdrawn and the Han Dian commune was rebuilt. In the spring of 1962, the district system was restored. In September 1968, it was restored to Handian commune. In 1984, it was changed to Handian township. In July 1994, the township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, Handian town has 46 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.

By the end of 2018, there were 102 industrial enterprises in Handian Town, including 16 industrial enterprises above Designated Size and 80 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

At the end of Qing Dynasty, the territory was Fusheng North Township.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the township was abandoned and renamed the fourth district (Xiaodian District).

After 1937, the fourth district was changed to Qinghe district.

In 1958, the district was withdrawn and the Han Dian commune was rebuilt.

In the spring of 1962, the district system was restored.
