Hekou town

Hekou town is a town under the jurisdiction of Daozhen County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. It is located in the northwest of Daozhen County on the border of Northern Guizhou, 22 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Luolong and Zhongxin towns in the East, Yuxi town in the south, Dagan and Sanqiao town in the west, and Yangxi town in the north.

History of construction

It is a poor traditional agricultural township newly established after the merger and construction in 1992; on January 14, 2016, the people's Government of Guizhou Province approved the abolition of Hekou township system and the establishment of Hekou town.

The town governs 7 administrative villages, including Datian village, Meijiang village, Chetian village, Xingmin village, Shiqiao village, Sanba village and zhulintang village

It has a total area of 138.16 square kilometers and 24270 mu of arable land, including 7995 mu of farmland and 16275 mu of soil. It has jurisdiction over 166 villager groups in 7 villages and 22700 people, including 14600 labor force and 7920 migrant workers. In 2012, the GDP was 2467.85 million yuan, and the fiscal revenue was 1.8926 million yuan. The per capita net income of farmers is 3420 yuan.
