Xiazhuang town

Xia Zhuang Town, belonging to Gucheng County, Hengshui City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Gucheng county. It is adjacent to Dezhou City, Shandong province. The South gap canal is opposite to the four women's temple in Wucheng County, Shandong province. The west is connected to the town of the former, Xinzhuang Township and Li village. The north is connected with Jingxian County, with a total area of 80.41 square meters, and by 2018, the registered residence population is 39831.

In March 1958, Xiazhuang commune was established, belonging to Wuqiao county. In May 1961, it returned to Gucheng County. In July 1983, it was changed to Xiazhuang township. In January 1996, Yuanzhuang township was incorporated. In December 1999, Xiazhuang township was changed into a town. As of June 2020, Xiazhuang town has 46 administrative villages.

Historical evolution

In March 1958, Xiazhuang commune was established, belonging to Wuqiao county.

In May 1961, it returned to Gucheng County.
