Sanmafang Township

Sanmafang Township, belonging to Yangyuan County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the east of Yangyuan County, adjacent to huashaoying town in the East, Sanggan River in the south, Dongcheng Town in the west, Tianzhen county and Gaoqiang Township in Shanxi Province in the north. It is 40 kilometers away from the people's government of Yangyuan County, with a total area of 77.7 square kilometers.

In September 1956, Sanmafang township was established; in September 1958, Sanmafang township was incorporated into Dongcheng commune; in March 1984, Sanmafang commune was changed into Sanmafang township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in three Ma Fang township was 10202. As of June 2020, 11 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of Sanmafang village, and the Township People's government is stationed in Sanmafang village.
