Anliu town

It belongs to Wuhua County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province. It is located in the south of Wuhua County, bordering Mianyang town in the East, Meilin town in the south, Zhoujiang town in the West and Hengpi town in the north. It is 33 kilometers away from the county, with a total area of 109.95 square kilometers. Provincial Highway Huishui line and Anpu line meet at anliuwei, and Qinjiang River runs through the whole town. It is the throat of Wuhua to Zijin, Pearl River Delta, JieXi, Luhe and other coastal areas. It has jurisdiction over 42 village committees and 4 community neighborhood committees.

By the end of 2017, there were 34851 households and 171645 people, including 159180 agricultural population and 12465 non-agricultural population; the town had 4353.13 hectares of cultivated land. The total income of rural economy in the town reached 1.2 billion yuan, an increase of 9.1% over the previous year.

Historical evolution

Name and origin

Originally known as hengliudu, because it is located on the Bank of Qinjiang River, the river is fast, and wooden boats are used as bridges, so it is called hengliudu. In 1911, the literati at that time changed the "torrent" of ominous omen into "Anliu" of auspicious omen, from which the place name came.

Evolution of administrative districts

At the beginning of the Republic of China, it was called Anliu. Anliu town was established in March 1947. After 1950, it was established in districts, townships and towns. Anliu commune was established in 1958. Lijiang commune was established in 1961 and merged into Anliu commune in 1963. In 1972, Dadu commune was separated (formerly the Hedong part of Lijiang commune and Shangbu brigade of Shuanghua commune), and Wanlong commune was separated in 1978. In November 1983, the commune was withdrawn to establish Anliu District, and Wanlong commune was abolished at the same time. The three brigades of kuizhang, Wenkui and Fuling under its jurisdiction were assigned to Wenkui district. In November 1986, it was changed into a town. In November 2003, Wenkui town was merged into Anliu town. In October 2004, Dadu town was merged into Anliu town. It is one of the three central towns of Wuhua approved by Guangdong provincial government.

Now Anliu town has 42 villager committees and 4 community committees. Anliu town was approved as a central town in 2003. Various supporting institutions are relatively sound: Bank, credit cooperatives, supply and marketing cooperatives, telecommunications, post office, mobile phone, national tax, local tax, industry and commerce, food, animal husbandry, hospital, power supply, culture, radio and television, etc. there is one complete middle school (Anliu middle school), six junior middle schools and 56 primary schools. Anliu is one of the three central towns in the county. Infrastructure construction has made great progress: Road Traffic: provincial Huishui line and Anpu line meet at anliuwei and run through the whole town, realizing village to village highway, and 80% of villages have realized village highway hard bottom. More than 90% of the villages have achieved the goal of mechanized farming. Weizhen Construction: in 2005, Anliu hired South China University of technology, Guangzhou Institute of geography and Meizhou Hongtu urban and rural planning and Design Co., Ltd. to survey and revise the overall planning of Anliu town from 2005 to 2020 according to the requirements of central town construction, and the urban area of Weizhen town was expanded from the existing 3.2 square kilometers to 8 square kilometers. Anliuwei, bounded by Qinjiang River, is divided into anzhen and Siqian areas, connected by new and old Anliu bridges. In recent years, it has developed Hedi East Xinxiu street, and Hedi West Street is under development. There are more than 1200 stores in Weizhen. The newly planned development area is nearly 4 square kilometers.

The first phase project of Guangdong Huapu solar energy industrial Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has settled in the former Anliu Fenglin middle school, covering an area of about 333 hectares, with an investment of about 100 million yuan. The equipment is being installed and debugged. Second, the effect of capacity expansion and quality improvement is obvious. Centering on the goal of building a county sub central town with a population of 250000, we should focus on the construction of Qingjiang new town, which covers an area of 10 hectares and integrates residential buildings, shopping centers, logistics and trade, hotels and restaurants, culture and entertainment, residential quarters and other functions, so as to drive the surrounding development and expand the urban area. In terms of urban quality improvement, we will focus on the upgrading of the road from huitiandi gas station to Lantian Qiaotou, the section from huitiandi gas station to radial Avenue, the construction of Yanjiang Avenue on the West Bank of Qinjiang River, the construction of changtangdi Avenue in Wantang village, the upgrading of Siqian street to Xinxing Street, the upgrading of dadouzhen, the comprehensive market reconstruction of Anliu old theater, and the construction of hydrophilic park. Animal husbandry

In recent years, the improvement of cattle cold spirit breeding varieties and the promotion of lean pork have been increased. A total of 8300 cattle were born by cold mating, and 29000 lean pigs were sold annually, accounting for 62% of the total number.
