Sanjia town
Sanjia town. Subordinate to Dongfang City, Hainan Province, it is located in the north of Dongfang City and the South Bank of the lower reaches of Changhua river. It borders Datian town in the East, Basuo town in the south, sigeng town in the West and Wulie town and Changhua town across the river in the north, covering an area of 172.82 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in three towns was 36368.
From 1945 to 1949, it belonged to a district of Changjiang County. In 1953, it was subordinate to the five districts of Changgan county. In September 1957, three hometowns were established. In 2001, the township was set up. As of June 2020, Sanjia town has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Sanjia village.
In 2018, there were 4 industrial enterprises in the three towns and 2 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
