Wuyi Road sub district office is located in the southwest of Xuchang City, with a population of 44682 and an area of 4.7 square kilometers. It is the main industrial zone in Xuchang city with superior terrain and convenient transportation.

In 1971, Wuyi Road was set up. In 1997, it covers an area of 7.3 square kilometers and has a population of 74000.
