Wan'an town government is located in Wan'an village. Located in the west of Hongdong County, 10 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Xincun Township in the East, zuomu Township in the west, Longma Township in the South and liujiayuan town in the north.

Historical evolution

Wan'an town was established in 2001 by merging zuojiagou Township, shuangchang Township and Wan'an town. In 1958, Wan'an commune included zuojiagou commune. In the winter of 1961, it was separated from zuojiagou commune, and it was transformed into a town in April 1984. It was the organizational system of the town long ago. Historically, it was the Sixth District of Hongdong county and the residence of Wan'an township government.

Economic situation

The terrain of the town is high in the West and low in the East, hilly in the west, and Pingchuan in the rest. The Sanjiao river flows into the town from the West and into the Fenhe River from the East through Xincun township. In 1958, the highway was built from the east to the west of Jiaochang Town, and from the east to the west, it passed through the Qiji town. The administrative area of the town is 155 square kilometers, and the main crops are wheat, corn, coarse cereals, potato and cotton.
