Baida Township

Luolong County, Changdu City, Tibet governs the township and two administrative villages, Baituo village and tongni village.

Located in the southwest of Changdu City, northeast of Luolong County, 125 km away from the county.

It belongs to the middle reaches of Nujiang River basin with high mountain and gorge landform.

The township covers an area of 99 square kilometers.

In March 2014, there were 687 people in the township.

It is a semi agricultural and semi pastoral Township, planting highland barley, wheat and rape, and Grazing Yak, cattle, goats and sheep.

Baida township was established in 1959, changed to commune in 1970, and restored to township in 1984.

Produce walnut, apple, pepper and other cash crops.

In 2007, Baida Township established the "farmers' and herdsmen's income increasing association" to sell walnut, apple and other characteristic agricultural products in tongtuo and Baituo villages, increasing their income by 32000 yuan.

In August 2009, the farmers' and herdsmen's income increasing association of Baida Township purchased 3000 Jin of local walnut and 5000 Jin of apple, and transported them to the county for sale, directly increasing the income of the masses by 42000 yuan.

Infrastructure construction

In 2006, Jiayuqiao Baida township highway was built, with a total length of more than 20 kilometers, rewriting the history of traffic congestion in Baida township.

On July 22, 2019, the bidding notice for the construction of the highway project from tongni village to Darong natural village of Baida township was issued, with a total length of 9.57 km.

On November 29, 2019, the bidding notice for the construction of g349 Baida Township Highway Renovation Project in Luolong county was issued, with the content of 8.279 km of "oil return sand" road surface renovation mileage.
