Lingshan

Lingshan Town is located at the south foot of Daba Mountain in the northeast of Sichuan Basin and in the north of Pingchang county. It is an important hub connecting Tongjiang County, Nanjiang county and Bazhong City. Lingshan Town has five administrative villages with a population of 11734 (in 2017). Since 2014, the economy of the whole town has been rising all the way, ranking among the top in the city's economic growth. Lingshan Town has beautiful scenery and outstanding people. In its territory, balingtai and Yijiahe are quite literati. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty, enkejuren, magistrate of Fangshan County, shuntianfu, and Wu daoning, the Huayang missionary, once wrote a Ode to balingtai, praising the beauty of balingtai. Balingtai, also known as balingzhai, is a national AAAA tourist attraction. It is a scenic Holy Land integrating "majestic, dangerous, clear and secluded".

In December 2018, balingzhai village was selected as the fifth batch of Chinese traditional villages.

On May 25, 2020, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Bazhong City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Tongjiang County and Pingchang county (cfzm [2020] No. 4): Shutan town was abolished, and the administrative areas of Liangting village, smallpox village and Chaoyang village in former Shutan town were put under the jurisdiction of Lingshan Town, and Lingshan Town People's government was stationed at No. 1 Jingxiu Avenue, balingtai community.

Lingshan Town is the north gate of Pingchang County, with obvious traffic location advantages. Roads in Sichuan and Shaanxi Province pass through the border, and Bada, Bawan Expressway and Bada railway can reach them in a short time. The hardened roads in the township run through every village, and the high standard civilized roads and communities are connected. Water conservancy infrastructure has been gradually improved, with more than 200 ponds and reservoirs built, annual water storage capacity of 5 million cubic meters, supporting canal system of 200000 meters, and effective irrigation area of 800 mu. There are 1 Central Primary School, 7 rural primary schools, 2 financial institutions, 1 central health center, 6 village health centers and 7 rural libraries. 99% of radio and television households, 100% of people's participation rate, the information network of China Mobile and China Unicom covers the whole Township, and the broadband household project is planning to start.

Economics

Lingshan Town mainly produces high-quality rice, wheat, corn and rape, with an annual total grain output of 500000 tons. While maintaining the traditional advantageous industries, actively cultivate and develop new industries. There are 15 large pig breeding households in the township with an annual output of 15000 pigs and a net profit of 2.4 million yuan; 25 large pig breeding households with an annual output value of 1.8 million yuan. Vegetables, fruits, native chicken, yellow sheep and other emerging breeding and processing industries are being planned and implemented in an orderly manner, and will eventually form large-scale, ecological, high-quality and other high-end quality industries.

In 2015, Xukang lotus root planting professional cooperative of Pingchang County, relying on balingtai national AAAA scenic spot of Lingshan Town, based on the rich water resources, good ecological environment and contiguous terrace resources of Minmin village and Caoba village, developed lotus root planting industry on a large scale. From Chongqing and other places, we have introduced early, middle and late maturing famous varieties such as big Mac, snow lotus, pearl, Erlian, etc., built 85 Mu lotus root variety propagation garden, accelerated the construction of 1000 mu lotus root standard garden, and promoted the scale development of surrounding farmers, planting more than 1000 Mu lotus root.

Travel

There is balingtai national AAAA scenic spot in Lingshan Town. The main peak of balingtai is more than 760 meters above sea level. It is about 300 meters long from east to west, 25 meters wide from north to south, and only 3 meters narrow. It covers an area of 6000 square meters. It is steep on all sides and is made up of huge stones. The top of the mountain is like a platform, and the shape is like a heavenly horse from a distance. It is known as "Tieda balingzhai". Balingtai combines Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism in one mountain. It is the important node of Micang ancient road and the site of the national sacrifice to heaven in Cuba. In 2005, Premier Wen Jiabao visited balingtai, Lingshan Town.

Balingtai scenic area is beautiful with pleasant climate. At present, there are seven halls: xuanzu hall, Yaowang hall, Erlang Shenjun hall, Daxiong hall, Maitreya hall, Dousheng hall and Guanyin hall. Existing Buddha statues: Guanyin, xuanzu, Yaowang Bodhisattva, Luban, land God, Erlang God, Buddha, wealth God, jade emperor, Queen Mother, dizang King Bodhisattva, Qitian great sage, etc. Five cultural relics including huafangzi, Jiachang tomb and Wujia courtyard are listed as provincial cultural relics protection units; 11 cultural relics including Qiupu tomb, fengjiaba pagoda and taoshikan cliff statue are listed as municipal cultural relics protection units. Balingtai is famous for its Ode to balingtai written by Gengchen enkeju of Qianlong and Wu daoning of Fangshan County in Qing Dynasty.

On July 29, 2020, it was named "2017-2019 cycle National Health township" by the National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee.
