Zhuxianzhuang town is a town under the jurisdiction of Yongqiao District, Suzhou City, Anhui Province. It is located in the eastern suburb of Suzhou city. It is located in the center of Suzhou City and high-speed railway new area, more than 10 kilometers away from Suzhou City and Suzhou east station of high-speed railway. It is adjacent to xinbian River in the north and gutuo River in the south. Zhuxianzhuang Coal Mine and Sudong coal gangue power plant, the national large-scale coal mine, are located in the town. Provincial road 303 and Suzhou Avenue run across the East and West. Su Chu highway runs through the north and south. Development history

Since 1984, it was approved by the people's Government of Anhui Province to establish a sub county-level town. In 2007, it was listed as a "satellite town" by Suzhou Municipal People's government. In 2008, it was approved as a "professional town of industrial cluster" by Anhui Provincial People's government. In 2009, it was approved as a "pilot town of power expansion and strong town" (economic strong town) by Anhui provincial government As an advanced nuclear unit, it has been rated as one of the top ten towns of municipal civilized towns and township enterprises for many years. In 1998, it was rated as a national excellent town for civil affairs work. The origin of the name

Zhuxianzhuang has a long history. In the Sui Dynasty, it was located in the lower reaches of the ancient Bianhe river. Because of the low-lying terrain, it formed a vast ocean, and the local people called it "Lake". There is a village on the South Bank of the lake called liujiahu. Liujiahu, as the name suggests, is a village formed by the majority of Liu surnames. Liujiahu is very small, but more than 100 people live in a remote place, so no one knows. In the Ming Dynasty, there was a Confucianist in the village. His surname was Zhu, and he was called Zhu Sheng. Zhu Sheng is kind, intelligent and studious, especially good at medical books. One year, liujiahu was infected with a plague, coupled with a long drought and no rain, the crops failed to harvest, the farmers were displaced, and there were many sorrows everywhere. Zhu Sheng loves his neighbors. Because he is quite skilled in medicine, he sold his family property to buy medicine for his neighbors. Over time, Zhu Sheng's medical skills gradually improved, and he became a famous doctor with a radius of 100 Li, known as "a master of immortals". The neighbors affectionately called him "Mr. Zhu" and called his village "Mr. Zhu Village". Many years later, people changed "Mr. Zhu Village" to "Zhu Xianzhuang". This is the origin of the name of Zhuxianzhuang.
