Daban Town

Daban Town, subordinate to Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, is located 18 kilometers south of Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County. It covers an area of 136.42 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of registered residence in Tai ban town was 11860.

In 1948, Fuxin County was liberated, and Daban area belonged to the 10th and 11th districts of Fuxin County. In 1958, when the township was merged, Chaoyang Temple Township was established in Daban district; in September, Daban was incorporated into the National Day commune (located in Furong Town). In 1961, Daban was set up from the National Day commune. In 1968, the Management Committee of Daban commune was changed into the Daban Revolutionary Committee. In 1983, Daban township was changed; in 1997, township was changed into town. As of June 2020, Daban Town has jurisdiction over six administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Daban village.

In 2018, Daban Town had one industrial enterprise and 54 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
